Unplanned Trip - Penang :-)
It was a crazy idea I can say, suddenly pop out in my mind, "let's go to Penang tonight" to my friends while having our dinner in Sri Damansara last Thursday night.
One of my friend thought it was just a stupid idea, well, out of blue we want to go to Penang without any preparations and personal belongings. But that crazy and stupid idea was materialised as we started our journey from Sri Damansara around 11.20pm and since the idea was came from me, so i did the driving..:P
We reached Batu Feringgi at 3.00am and decided to sleep in the car..hahaha.. they refused to check-in (save some cash after all). Since my car is my second bed, so i got no problem to sleep, while my friends were struggled to make themselves comfy...Sorry lads!!
After having our breakfast at a stall, we then spend some time in HRC Penang, took photos around the building and went out to the shore. Okay, this was my 1st time been to the shore as the first two visit to Penang, I just spent time in the city. I like the scenery, breathtaking!!!
We were there for roughly about 2hours and then we proceed to Gurney and lepak at a newly-open mall called, Gurney Paragon. Nice architecture and breezy as this place is actually located facing the sea. Unfortunately, tourist are not allowed to take photos inside the building - something that i just cannot understand and accept. What is wrong if tourist (well i considered myself as a tourist since im not local) wants to photograph the building??
So yeah, we then resume our journey to Chowrasta which famously known with their "asam jeruk" but we didn't buy any as we got to perform Friday prayer. After that, we went to Perda or Seberang Perai, met my Flickr friend there and had our late lunch at one of the famous Nasi Kandar restaurant there named Nasi Kandar Kapitan.
We've push off back to Shah Alam at 5pm.
